I discovered that as much as business people needed training in thinking on their feet, they needed far more training in the fine art of getting along and
dealing with people in everyday business and social contacts. Andrew Carnegie

Etiquette training does more than teach you how to behave in public, say please and thank you, and shake hands. While these are important benefits, etiquette training gives you skills to build and maintain healthy relationships in all aspects of your life.

The Etiquette & Image Center provides world-class instruction in social etiquette, dining skills and dress for children, teens, adults and business professionals. We offer seminars for corporate executives, students on the way to career success and children just learning the value of good behavior. We tailor training to the needs and budget of any academic group or business with a variety of cost-effective options. We can customize training for any location in the U.S.A. or abroad. Our programs can help you, your child or your employees build and nurture successful relationships for lifelong success.

Jennifer Shahan is the founder and director of the Etiquette & Image Center and the Academy of Manners & More, an etiquette program founded in 1995 for girls and boys ages 8 – 17 years old. She has worked with hundreds of children, teens and adult business people to help them become more confident and courteous and develop better social and working relationships.

An accomplished education and training professional, Ms. Shahan has had a distinguished career in sales and real estate. Drawing on her entrepreneurial experience, she understands the importance of networking, getting referrals and making the best first and lasting impression. She creates practical learning opportunities and presents activities that engage workshop participants, help them retain classroom training and apply it to real-life situations.

In addition to her expertise as a successful businesswoman, Ms. Shahan has a B.S. in Education from the University of Kentucky, is a certified training consultant in Business/Corporate and International Protocol from The Protocol School of Washington, and is certified in children’s etiquette from The Etiquette and Leadership Institute in Athens, GA.
